NEWS UPDATE (December 2010): Once again, a recent Joint Live Fire (JLF) Test Program demonstrated the effectiveness of Skyward’s Enhanced Powder Panels, where out of 15 tests in a production-realistic aircraft wing, NO FIRES resulted! Testing included scenarios with both wing leading and trailing edge dry bays and airflow. Trailing edge testing involved the flaps in both retracted and extended configurations, demonstrating the Enhanced Powder Panels capability to protect the aircraft in all mission stages and in the presence of significant airflow. Each test condition impacted fuel tanks, hydraulic lines or fuel lines. This is the third successful JLF Test Program Demonstration involving now two fixed wing and a rotary wing aircraft.
